From My Studio -March 2021

I'm so happy to be back in the studio after a few weeks break on the Gulf Coast of Florida. While the weather there was beautiful and sunny, I like the change of seasons and am glad to be home. Creating beautiful artwork is my first love, but gardening is a close second and I always look forward to tending the fruit & vegetable garden in the spring. Now that the studio is behind our home, when I take a break, I can walk out and wander the path and pull a few weeds. Heaven!

So what's coming up?? I applied for a Large Abstract show to be held in the beautiful gallery space at Leland Cultural Arts Center and got the space for June! So, I'm working on that. I owe a shout-out to Jerry's Artarama and the Jerry Goldstein Foundation of Raleigh for a grant to help me with the cost of the exhibit. I was one of nearly 4,000 applicants who received one of only 100 grants awarded and am grateful for the recognition and help. In early April, the 39th Annual NC Azalea Festival Spring Show and Sale held by the Wilmington Art Association takes place at the Hannah-Block Community Arts Center. Both my paintings were accepted. There will be art and bins full of affordable artwork from over 150 artists! More details on this show below. All the best, Adrienne P.S.
