March was a whirlwind of activity. First was the Residency at Art Ovation Hotel here in Sarasota the first week of March. A new experience for me, this weeklong event put me face-to-face with hundreds of new people. There were Sarasota residents, many "snowbirds", and vacationers. Paintings went to their new homes in Santa Barbara, Orlando, and right here in Sarasota. I'm grateful for the sales, yes, and mostly for meeting so many new people who love art! I painted from 4 - 8 pm every evening for the residency week and paused to talk when visitors came. See photo below. This was a wonderful experience for an artist new to Sarasota!
After the residency, I moved into a second space which is open to the public. In addition to the working studio at Creative Liberties, I now share a studio at Towles Court in Sarasota. I am at Towles Court on Thursdays, Creative Liberties on Fridays, and I alternate Saturdays between the two. While you can visit either during the open hours, if you want to be sure to catch me, please email to find out when I'll be there or to schedule a visit. Both locations are great destinations for art collectors and art lovers; there are 20+ artists at Creative Liberties and 10 artists at Towles Court. Great lunch places in both locations as well!

Select Creative Liberties studio artists will be part of this six-month exhibit. If you are in or will be visiting Sarasota, do yourself a favor and wander in. The entire first floor of this beautiful hotel is filled with artwork. You don't need a reason to walk through and check it out.
